Trina Solar, a global producer of photovoltaic (PV) modules, solutions, and services, successfully sold its 50 MW Solar Power Plant in Wuwei, Gansu province to Huadian Fuxin Energy Corp.
Huadian Fuxin will assume 100% ownership of the project from Trina Solar with the completion of the transaction. The Wuwei project is Trina’s first large-scale project in China.
The transaction represents a milestone for Trina Solar because it highlights the company’s ability develop large-scale downstream projects with a complete project cycle from designing, construction, operation to the final sale.
