  • S-Crane – engineered in Germany, the sole purpose of this crane is to minimize the duration of construction, which can significantly drive down the EPC costs by 15%. By utilizing the carefully designed, state-of-the-art suction technology, this crane allows the installation of 11 modules simultaneously. With a reach of 8 meters (approximately 3 rows of arrays), this vehicle will be able to lower the amount of labor cost by 10%, which has already been drawing attention in the European and North American markets.
  • 1,500-V Modules – S-Energy has been working exclusively with Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and has cooperated in the process of establishing the certification requirements for PV modules with a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V. The company is one of the first to receive 1,500-V certification by UL, and the new modules will be equipped with advanced materials for improved performance with stronger tolerances for higher voltages. By increasing the number of modules in a single array, this product has been proven to reduce the amount of electrical materials by 14%, leading to a 10% decrease in the balance of system (BoS) cost.
  • Glass-to-Glass (G2G) Modules – a frameless, PID-free PV module with a warranty term of 30 years and an annual degradation rate of 0.35%. This new and improved module has been approved to be more aesthetically pleasing, while meeting all of the safety requirements for both electrical and fire standards. With glass sheets on the module’s front and back, S-Energy’s G2G modules provide homeowners with a more modern look, compared to standard PV modules.

The company’s U.S. operations, S-Energy America, has completed the installation and grid connection of 3.33 MW of solar carport structures at two Los Angeles County school districts in 2014. S-Energy America provides AD/CVD-free, Korean-made modules to major residential and commercial solar installers throughout North America.

S-Energy Co. formed as a spin-off of Samsung Electronics, is one of the global solar industry’s oldest and most experienced module manufacturers – continuously building PV modules since 1994. The Company’s reputation for industry-leading quality and long-term performance is backed by 20 years of field operating data. S-Energy’s project development activities include building some of the world’s first megawatt scale solar power plants dating back to 2006.
