Solgate, formerly Canada’s premier PV solar module manufacturing facility with a wide array of distributors across the world, will be selling its module manufacturing machines in an online auction through MachineryMax. The high tech, state of the art manufacturing assets being auctioned make up the six key components of the solar module manufacturing process which include, solar cell preparation, tabbing and straining, module lay up, lamination, framing and J- boxing, and performance testing. This ultra high end process enabled Solgate to manufacture four types of PV modules.
With names like, Somont, 3S Swiss Solar, Asic, and Ecoprogetti, Solgate invested in the best equipment to ensure quality panels.
The online auction is scheduled to close on on May 4, 2016 beginning at 11 a.m. PST. An inspection day is open to the public on May 2, 2016 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. EST.
