SteveSteve Daniel, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Solar FlexRack
Steve Daniel joined Northern States Metals in March of 2013 as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Solar FlexRack division. Daniel has 25 years of top sales performance in solar and high-tech. Beginning his career as an industrial engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation, Daniel has enjoyed increasing responsibilities in companies such as Sun Microsystems, BEA, and Silicon Graphics. Prior to joining Solar FlexRack, Daniel held roles as VP of Business Development at Hyperion Systems and Chief Sales Officer at CentroSolar. Daniel has a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and participated in continuing education at the Harvard Extension School in Cambridge, MA.

Brian-CroppedBrian M. Flood, P.E., Director of Engineering, Solar FlexRack
Brian joined Solar FlexRack as the Director of Engineering in January of 2012. Prior to that he worked for a multi-discipline engineering firm in Pittsburgh, PA from 2004-2012 designing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Brian has been a licensed professional engineer since 2009 with current licensure in 23 states. Brian is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He is also a member of The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Brian heads the multidiscipline engineering team for Solar FlexRack consisting of structural, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering competencies specializing in solar, fixed-tilt and tracker design, foundation design including driven piles and ballasted solutions, and services that include onsite pull testing and installation.
