10 reasons to be a ‘Top Solar Contractor’

We at Solar Power World are now taking applications for the 2016 Top 500 Solar Contractors list. If your company is a solar EPC, developer, construction firm, electrical engineering subcontractor or solar hot water installer, you should take five minutes and fill out the application.

Here are 10 reasons why your company should be on the Top 500 Solar Contractors list:

1. Recognition. The Solar 500 is the most recognized list in the solar industry, among important industry players but also the general public. Hundreds of people looking for solar installation providers peruse our lists every day. You want to be in front of them.
2. Marketing. Your company will be listed multiple ways—by market segment, service offering and state—as well as on an overall list, letting you choose how to promote your Solar 500 ranking. It’s a great marketing opportunity!
3. Simplicity. The Solar 500 application is easy to fill out. It asks basic questions, such as how much solar your company installed this year and last year, how many people you employ and where you’re located. You can see all the questions in advance by downloading this PDF.
