omcoOMCO, custom roll former, says  its management system has been certified to ISO 9001. OMCO’s ISO 9001 certification applies to all of its operating locations. This includes its headquarters in Wickliffe, Ohio as well as its manufacturing facilities in Pierceton, Indiana and Phoenix, Arizona, which is home of the company’s OMCO Solar division.

ISO 9001 requires that a company’s quality management system establishes a clearly defined set of procedures, guidelines, policies and practices which will ensure that the organization provides products that consistently meet customer requirements. Included within the quality management system is a company-wide commitment to continuously improve its processes with the goal of greater customer satisfaction.

“Employees across the entire breadth of the company worked together to define, enhance and document our quality management system so that all of our facilities could become certified to ISO 9001. We are excited for what this certification means to OMCO as well as to our valued customers,” said Gary Schuster, president and CEO of OMCO.

Founded in 1955, OMCO is the largest custom roll former in the United States. The company develops highly engineered shapes for a diverse set of industries including agriculture, appliances, building products, construction, conveyors, storage systems, transportation and solar. OMCO has four manufacturing facilities in the United States that represent over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space with more than 50 active roll forming mills, over 50 presses, along with dozens of other metalworking operations.
