Exosun’s single-axis solar tracker, Exotrack HZ v2, was engineered to deliver high energy output and to minimize CAPEX and OPEX for ground-mounted solar plants, thereby offering the lowest LCOE.
The Exotrack HZ v2 will be on display at Exosun’s booth #3013 at the Solar Power International tradeshow in Las Vegas this September. The system will also be showcased on First Solar’s booth #745 supporting their S4 and S5 modules.
Exotrack HZ v2’s straightforward design and unrivalled simplicity are reflected in its market leading installation rate of 200 man-hours per MW for mechanical installation. No machines are needed to assemble the structure’s few and lightweight parts on site, reducing installation time.
Thanks to its short rows, the system accepts high land irregularities, even between piles. Exotrack HZ v2 smoothly follows flowing topography without land grading.
Exotrack HZ v2’s linked-row architecture and grease-free, balanced structure make it an extremely reliable solar tracking system. With only 51 key components needed for 10 MW (vs. 2500 for certain competitive products), failure risks and O&M actions are reduced to an absolute minimum for 25 years.
Exotrack HZ v2 can be delivered with a smart module cleaning device. With reduced human intervention and its capacity to clean without water, the system offers increased cleaning performance at a low cost.
More than 370 MW of Exotrack® HZ trackers have been installed on 35 solar plants worldwide.
