Soltec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar trackers, has increased its manufacturing capacity of the SF Utility tracker equipment by 50%, reaching more than 2 GW of annual capacity. Soltec’s facility in Spain adds three new robotic lines to automate manufacturing of mechanical components and increased supply-support infrastructure.
The capacity increase will sustain increasing sales following on SF Utility annual sales attaining 1+ GW in the United States and Latin America. It also addresses market feedback of customer concerns about supply lead-times of tracker equipment in the market.
