It’s no secret that adding battery backup systems to residential and small commercial PV systems can be cost prohibitive for most of your customers. Although prices are coming down, it can still be quite expensive. In cases where a battery backup system is either necessary or more ideal than the alternatives, there are ways to use existing technology to make it less expensive for your customers.
In this webinar, we will discuss two Magnum Energy inverter/chargers and how they can help when:
- A generator for backup is not an option – i.e. due to noise – or is limited to use only during specific times of the day.
- A customer would like to take advantage of excess power generated via PV to charge batteries for later use when selling that power back to the grid is not an option or doesn’t make sense.
- A customer would like to take advantage of time-of-use rates by charging batteries for later power use when rates are higher.
- Choosing to live off grid.
The Magnum Energy MSH-RE and MS-PAE inverter/chargers are each suited to respond to the above scenarios. Learn how these two models compare, in what applications they’re suited for, and how they can help your customers save money.
