With solar on track to become the most diverse energy source in America, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) has released a Diversity Best Practices Guide for the Solar Industry – a guiding tool for organizations looking to implement diversity goals.
Complete with recruitment best practices, leadership tips and retention advice, SEIA’s Community Engagement Committee designed this guide to assist solar companies with the practical application and implementation of diversity initiatives.
“The solar industry has thrived because of the diversity of its 209,000 employees and the individual talents they bring to their jobs each day,” said Tom Kimbis, SEIA’s interim president. “We believe expanding upon that success is integral to our future as an industry, and this guide is the perfect launching pad.”
In addition to key resources, SEIA’s guide also contains case studies highlighting proven initiatives already in operation.
