Conejo, by GES, is one of the biggest PV plants in Chile.
Two years ago, Global Energy Services (GES) decided to develop the solar activity within the company which had an immediate respond in the market, with the awarding of 150 MW in photovoltaic construction during 2015. Only a few months before, GES created a Solar Division to promote the solar activity.
After the completion of both projects, GES is negotiating its first photovoltaic plant in Mexico, which became a big market after the irruption of solar energy in last year’s auctions. Besides, GES is also working to closed an agreement in the US. These two photovoltaic plants will add 60 MW for the construction area of the company.
GES Solar division has a more ambitious plan, working on 350 MW tenders for this year. GES photovoltaic activity will be focused in America, striving to get more MW in the Middle East region shortly, where the Spanish service provider has already experience in the wind sector. GES is also transforming its organization, reinforcing the photovoltaic engineering team.
