Sunvalley Solar (SSOL) has successfully completed construction for a 2.2-MWdc solar system as an addition to a 1.1-MWdc solar PV project installed in 2015 on Wreden Ranch in California.
“I have been very pleased with my dealings with Sunvalley Solar. They have the competitive pricing, top notch products and quality to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations, and they are willing to do what it takes to keep their customers happy,” said E.J de Jong, owner of Wreden Ranch.
With the additional 2.2-MW project, the overall 3.3-MW solar array will be the largest privately owned solar system ever installed on a California dairy. The solar energy provided from the system will offset around 85% of the farms electricity consumption. A total of 10,572 Canadian Solar panels, together with SMA inverters and ATI single-axis tracker systems, were deployed on 18 acres land.
“Wreden Ranch is a leader in sustainable dairy farming and now they are leader in producing and utilizing renewables, solar energy,” said Mehmet Cercioglu, general manager of Sunvalley Solar. “We’re pleased to help them to extend their leadership even further. Over the last 10 years we have developed innovative solar solutions for members of agriculture community. Sunvalley makes it easy for farms to go solar because we cater to their specific business operations and ensure minimal disruptions.”
