GameChange Racking has announced the completion of a 4-MW project in Massachusetts that utilized the GameChange Pour-in-Place Ballasted Ground System. Andrew Worden, CEO for GameChange Racking said:

gamechange racking“Pour-in-Place self-leveling technology is designed to drastically reduce install time. It’s as easy as pop a string, place leave-behind plastic forms and rail supports, attach rails, level and pour concrete. Everything goes together seamlessly, unlike the precast systems which use heavy blocks which are time consuming to place and require painfully pre-prepared dead-level foundation pads.”

“This 4 MW project in Massachusetts utilized the Pour-in-Place system and the racking was completed in under 4 full work weeks. With Pour-in-Place, we provide the easiest, most cost-effective landfill PV racking solution; total installed price including labor is typically at least 30% below the competition.”

GC Pour-in-Place Ground System features:

  • Self-leveling technology: 68% faster install than precast
  • Large ballast footprint reduces landfill cap loading
  • Wind tunnel tested and rated for 150mph wind speed
  • Available in both 1 and 2 panels in portrait
  • Panels rapidly mount using T-bolts in teethed, self-grounding top mount clamps
  • Integrated wire management tray on robust aluminum rails
  • 5 to 35° tilt with multiple inter-row spacing options
  • Five men install 200 panels and racks with concrete per day: 1,000 per week
  • Starts $.129/w for panel racks, $.199/w for complete system including ballast
