Sun Action Trackers announced that it will be offering specifically engineered models of its PST-2AL Dual Axis Solar Trackers to residential dealers and installers beginning March 1. The PST-2AL has more than 40,000 units in use to date, becoming the mainstay for the now well-known Alamo Solar Projects in Texas. The modified versions will offer a 20-module and 25-module array in comparison to the 42-module array used in utility scale scenarios, though the larger unit will still be available as well.
“We are incredibly excited to enter a new space with our revolutionary product line that has time and time again proven its worth in the solar tracking industry,” said Ron Hardin, director of dealer support. “Our dual-axis trackers offer up to 45% greater production from traditionally used methods in residential solar, and our dealers are sharing our enthusiasm for the potential of our product in their market.”
Sun Action Trackers enters the residential space not only as the industry leader in dual axis solar tracking, but also the price-performance leader by utilizing its existing manufacturing capabilities and partnerships.
