The M+W Group, a Solar Power World Top Solar Contractor, has achieved a key milestone in its continued evolution as a leading solar EPC company. With its portfolio of completed and active construction projects, the company has surpassed 1 GW installed capacity of utility and large commercial projects worldwide. The equivalent of 1 GW of solar can offset the power consumption of up to 100,000 homes annually, or up to 1 million tons of CO2 emissions per year of operation.
While much of its completed capacity is in the United States, M+W Group continues to expand its global energy presence, building upon the more than 100 MW of utility-scale projects it has constructed in various European, Middle Eastern, and Asia-Pacific markets. The company also remains a leading provider of O&M services, with over 200 MW of projects under its continuing management throughout the globe.
Jim Brown, President of M+W Energy, stated, “We are very proud to have surpassed the 1-GW milestone. Our success has been built on the basis of sound design value and good risk management practices for our customers. Our focus remains forward-looking as we continue to drive the evolution of our business. We are committed to expanding our value-added offerings to help our development customers and partners realize their project portfolios and explore next generation solutions at nearly any location around the globe.”
