For the sixth straight year, Swinerton Builders joined forces with employee and community volunteers to take part in Rebuilding Together, Sacramento’s annual “Rebuild Day.”
As a house sponsor for the event, Swinerton organized volunteer labor and leveraged 126 years of building expertise to make essential repairs to a South Sacramento family’s home. In addition to work-in-kind contributions, the company donated $5,000 through its nonprofit arm, The Swinerton Foundation.
This year, Swinerton made a host of much-needed upgrades to the home of a family of six who are active in the local community. During the full-day event, many hands worked together to update all bathrooms, overhaul the kitchen, fix HVAC and electrical issues, install a new front door, repair fencing, power wash the exterior, and apply a fresh coat of paint.
In addition to the Sacramento Rebuild Day, Swinerton routinely organizes teams for other Rebuilding Together events nationally through its network of 13 offices.
