The Site Solar 1308-W mobile solar light tower provides bright, quiet, renewable light through maintenance-free, deep-cycle batteries that operate four 150-W clean, white LEDs.

“The trailer’s solar panels charge the battery bank throughout the day to operate the four LEDs all night, allowing for a 24-hour work day,” said partner Chad Burris.  The company adds, industries benefiting from the Site Solar Mobile Light Tower include aviation, construction, oil & gas, rental yards, event promoters, emergency management services, law enforcement, border patrol, public works, landfills, mining, film production and more. The company has warehouse locations in Arizona and New Mexico.

Site Solar offers customization for the tower through options like additional batteries and generator options in both diesel and propane and in various configurations. In addition, Site Solar has an available remote monitoring system that further reduces maintenance and provides security through incorporated surveillance systems.

“Many companies have announced a commitment to reducing their carbon footprint to help protect our environment,” added partner Randy Heckenkemper. “Site Solar is committed to helping those companies do just that—and helping them save money at the same time.”

The tower’s 11-gauge steel custom-welded structure is manufactured in the USA by Watson Hopper (watsonhopper.com) in Hobbs, NM. Watson Hopper’s facilities carry the ISO 9001:2008, API Q1, TS29001 AND API 4F quality certifications and have been family-owned since 1943.

In addition to its strategic alliance with Watson Hopper, Site Solar specifically sourced from leading U.S. component manufacturers to produce the tower, including SunPower solar panels, Xantrex inverters, and Allmand hydraulic masts. “These companies were engaged to produce the highest quality product to ensure job site safety and reduce CO2 emissions,” added Heckenkemper. “Our solar light towers have shown to reduce light tower operations costs by nearly 80% while also reducing CO2 emissions by 22 metric tons per unit when used in sunset-to-sunrise mode. This creates a win for both our customers’ bottom line and for our environment.”
