meteocontrol, a German company specializing in research, planning and consulting for the solar industry, and Enovos Future, a German company that develops and manages renewable energy projects, are collaborating to create a comprehensive portal solution for investors of photovoltaic and wind systems.
With a financial model, the new investor view, in addition to the main technical data, is intended to show the efficiency of the systems in the future. Separating them from their competitors is the virtual console (VCOM) of photovoltaic service meteocontrol.
Currently, investors view all important information on technical performance, the target-vs.-actual comparison and the current year balance sheet. In addition, investors have access to the monthly reports.
During the collaboration, the VCOM will be developed into a renewable energy platform that includes both PV and wind projects. First is a financial model that provides the daily financial status of all projects. This comprehensive data allows for the calculation of the price per kilowatt hour, and each country’s specific compensation model.
“[Because of] the different — and sometimes complicated — compensation scenarios,it’s not always easy to evaluate the investment project quickly and properly,” says Martin Schneider, general manager of meteocontrol. “Therefore, a financial model that creates the necessary transparency is critical.”
“Without having to worry about the technical details, the investor can see at a glance if the system generates the expected return,” Schneider adds.
“With this new investor solution, we can enhance our services in the field of renewable energy significantly and our customers significant added value,” says Jörg Christiansen, CEO of Enovos.
