Standard Solar CEO Tony Clifford will keynote the “Solar Creates New Opportunities” general session at PV America 2014, presented by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Solar Electric Power Association.
Designed specifically for PV-focused solar energy professionals, PV America will take place June 23-25 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Boston, Mass.
Clifford will speak alongside Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Harvard Business School Professor John Macomber. The keynote session is being held Monday, June 23 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Since 2007, Clifford has led Standard Solar’s rapid growth into a nationally known PV developer and EPC. Clifford began his career at Solarex Corporation, later acquired by British Petroleum and known as BP Solar. Throughout his career, Clifford has served as CEO or CFO of three high growth technology companies that were acquired by major corporations. He is an elected board member of SEIA, serves on SEIA’s executive committee and also served as the president of the regional chapter of SEIA, MDV-SEIA from 2009 to 2012.
PV America 2014 will host nearly 3,000 buyers, technology experts and industry leaders and feature an exhibit floor representing more than 100 companies who will be displaying new technology to facilitate PV solar solutions. The event also includes a variety of panel discussions and educational sessions about key industry topics.
