Powers Solar Frames of Phoenix, Ariz., has been awarded a 6.1-MW project in St. Louis to provide solar ground mount racking components for Ameren Missouri’s multi-million dollar Solar Energy facility.
The 19-acre site, adjacent to the utilities’ Belleau substation in St. Charles County, will feature more than 20,000 solar panels, generating enough electricity to power some 650 average size homes in the St. Louis area.
Ameren Missouri selected MC Industrial, an independent McCarthy company, to manage the design and construction of the state’s largest investor-owned solar energy center.
Powers Steel & Wire also offers solar carport frames, canopies, decking, C & Z purlins, box beams and posts.
