LegalZoom installs 260 kW of rooftop solar on Austin, Texas office.
LegalZoom, provider of online legal help for businesses and families, has partnered with Meridian Solar, a leader in commercial solar energy solutions, to engineer and construct a 260 kW solar electric system at LegalZoom’s Spectrum Drive office in Austin, Texas.
The 260 kW solar electric system, comprised of 864 PV modules, will produce an estimated 345,800 kWh in year one – that translates to first year savings of $22,000.00. The environmental impact amounts to an annual reduction of 224 tons of CO2 emissions – an environmental benefit equivalent to planting 8,000 carbon-sequestering trees in Texas’ parks.
