KACO new energy Offers Residential Transformerless Solar Inverters

kaco KACO new energy is manufacturing its new line of residential, transformerless solar inverters in San Antonio, Texas. The TL1 new product line will offer options for integrated AFCI, multiple mppt channels, integrated revenue grade metering, ac and dc overcurrent protection, and dc disconnection means for a range of time and cost saving options.

The product line features a new lightweight design and simple handling procedures allowing for increased installation speed thereby lowering labor cost and increasing installer productivity. The TL1 will communicate via SunSpec compliant Modbus TCP/IP for 3rd party monitoring services. Furthermore, all models come standard with an RJ 45 port and RS485 terminal. These features do not require the installer to attach an additional card during in field maintenance. The dc to ac conversion efficiency of 97% or higher and broad operating mppt window also translates to maximum design flexibility and energy harvest for all.

The TL1 family comes in a 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 kw size offering. Each model size comes with five different feature package options. Thus, installers, third party owners, and end users can now utilize KACO’s newest residential string inverter technology while virtually customizing what they want there inverter to do and how they want there inverter to do it.

KACO aims to maximize safety with this line of residential inverters KACO and is currently researching rapid shut down options in this series for future production inclusion.

Integrated Power Station Production In San Antonio
KACO new energy will also be manufacturing its fully customizable, 2.0-MW Integrated Power Station in San Antonio, Texas. The extremely flexible skid can come fully equipped with weather monitoring, protective canopies, the ability to integrate any third party SCADA communication protocols, customized lighting, security alarms and cameras, as well as an auxiliary power rack. The inverter itself (The KACO bp1000) has best in class 98% CEC efficiency, performs at full output power at 50 degrees Celsius, comes equipped with active dampening software, and will be offered at a highly competitive industry pricing level.

KACO new energy and Solar Power World will host a “Show Us Your Solar Pride” promotional campaign at this year’s Solar Power International show in Las Vegas, Nevada this October. Conference goers can participate in the campaign through a number of different outlets. Individuals must first stop by KACO’s booth #818 and pick up one of KACO’s  “I Heart Solar” buttons. Participants are then encouraged to take photos of themselves and others showing off their solar pride throughout any and all conference events. The more photos participants upload to KACO’s new, clean press media outlets the more chances that individual has to win.
