Solis Single PhaseGinlong Technologies reports that its Ginlong Solis single-phase PV solar inverters 2nd generation with and arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) option had been certified to UL standard 1741. Also, the inverters are now included on the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) list of approved PV inverter products. As part of the CEC list, the Solis inverter can be installed in California and across the United States.

Inverters must meet the following criteria in order to be added to the CEC eligible equipment list:
(1) Have safety certification (UL 1741) from a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL)
(2) Submit conversion efficiency data tested by a NRTL. The conversion efficiency data is from testing on a minimum of five samples and is for rebate calculation purposes. Submitted information is confirmed by the Energy Commission prior to being added to the list of eligible equipment, but it is not continuously monitored.

Coming from small wind heritage, Ginlong says its inverters have track record of high reliability over the last 10 years. Solis 2nd generation inverters are compact and light for easy installation, and include numerous protection functions to give those on the user end “peace of mind.” All the Solis inverters boast a high efficiency rating and feature a wide input voltage range, dual MPPT design starting from 2.5 kW with precise MPPT algorithm. NEMA 4X enclosure passes the salt spray testing for saline rich environment. Real-time data monitoring are available using Solis data logger from web or smart-phone. Ginlong single phase wind inverter and solar wind hybrid inverters are also CEC listed.

Make sure to visit Ginlong at Solar Power International 2014 this October in booth #2518.
