With the growth of solar of in the last 5 years, codes and permitting have become hot topics. In Low Slope PV there have been many new codes published and more are coming in the near future. Seismic solutions are a key part of many projects. Recent testing has illustrated new approaches to reduce the total cost while providing a safe solution. In addition, there is a new Fire Code which will affect both modules and the mounting system. These are on top of the UL 2703 code which adds new requirements for Low Slope PV mounting systems.
