QuickSolar has announced the release of the QuickSolar Marketplace, an online store where solar contractors can preview system designs before purchasing exclusive, qualified prospects.
The Marketplace allows contractors to select homeowners who have indicated interest in going solar, based on location, potential system solar output, monthly energy bill, utility provider and more. Prospects are priced by potential system size, location and date since origination.
Using QuickSolar’s award winning design tool, the Marketplace provides an extra layer of qualification with a pre-designed system on the rooftop of every homeowner that expresses interest in going solar. Contractors can pick only the leads that they want, exclusive to them. Once purchased, they instantly are sent a downloadable PDF of the homeowner’s contact info including name, e-mail, phone number and address.
With the purchase of the prospect, installers also receive exclusive access to the QuickSolar project, transferred directly into their own QuickSolar account. The solar professionals are able to open the project, edit the completed design if desired and instantly generate a proposal for their customers.
“For years, the solar industry has been struggling to find ways to reduce soft costs, which still make up 64% of the total cost of the system,” says QuickSolar co-founder & CEO Alex Landau. “For the first time ever, we’re giving installers the tools to acquire new customers, design a system and close deals, all in one place. To me, this is very exciting.”
The marketplace is in beta, and is currently open to all contractors that operate in New York, Florida and Texas. There’s no cost to browse prospects; visit QuickSolarMarketplace.com to begin.
