The Midwest Solar Expo last month provided an opportunity for the top minds in the region to meet and talk about what challenges they faced in their own states and how they could band together to help each other expand the solar market.
It featured nationally known speakers like Jigar Shah of Jigar Shah Consulting, Jeff Spies of Quick Mount PV and James Tong of Clean Power Fiannce. But the core of the conference — the people with the most experience on the ground in the Midwest, were people like Geoff Stenrick, CEO of SimpleRay Solar (the Midwest’s leading distributors), Lynn Hinkle, director of policy development of Minnesota SEIA, Ken Bradley, CEO of MN Community Solar and Doug Stingle, development director of the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.
There was even a sighting of some guy from the industry’s leading trade publication, who hosted a panel (in the video below, he has a don’t-blink-or-you’ll-miss-it moment at the 19-second mark).
