CALSEIA and Intersolar say Solar Summerfest is the premiere networking event of the tradeshow. Tickets are $235 at the door. All the proceeds from Summerfest go toward supporting the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA), a non-profit organization whose mission is to expand the use of all solar technologies in California, and to establish a sustainable industry for a clean energy future.

San Francisco Area Solar Installations Tour

Meeting Point: Intercontinental Hotel Lobby, 1:45 p.m.
Join a bus tour of some San Francisco solar sites. Participants will be treated to three solar installations: the City of San Francisco’s 5-megawatt PV system on its Sunset Reservoir in the Sunset District of San Francisco; the building-integrated PV awning at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, which we view from the roof of the Academy; and Project Open Hand, a non-profit community soup kitchen with accessible PV and solar thermal systems on the roof. All proceeds generated from the tours help support NorCal Solar′s local, nonprofit, consumer education efforts in Northern California.
