Ingeteam recently announced that, to date, the company has exceeded 120 MW of PV power supplied in Chile. The company points to its Ingecon Sun PowerMax central inverters, which have been installed in a solar plant with a 100 MW power output, as the keys to its success in Chile. The plant, located in the Atacama Desert, is expected to generate up to 270 GWh of energy per year, which will prevent the emission of 135,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
In addition, Ingeteam is set to take part as a Silver Sponsor in the the Chilean International Renewable Energy Congress (CIREC), held in Santiago de Chile, September 9 and 10. The company will be present at this congress as the leading manufacturer of solar inverters in Chile, and will showcase its latest products in the area of solar inverters for residential facilities and for large PV plants.
In the series of conference papers to be presented at the CIREC, Óscar González, the business development manager of Ingeteam in Chile, will provide details of Ingeteam’s solutions for the integration of energy storage systems in diesel networks. Likewise, Luis Moreno, the Ingeteam service sales manager, is scheduled to present the future actions of Ingeteam to meet the demand of the Chilean industry with regard to wind and PV plant O&M tasks.
